Uniform Team Highlights

Happy Bee 

Meaning: Bee is the insect which is most cooperated in groups and worked in order, they are the model of our lives. Their behavior of respecting and exercising patience to each other is important in learning manners and moral characters. Also, it is a significant socialization process in building a harmonious society. 

Target:   Children who are in 4-6 year old, studying K2 and K3 may join. Leading by the leader (teacher), in form of group gathering, children will learn, be brave to try, cooperate and live the caring spirit together. 

Oath:     I am a Happy Bee,
I Love My Family,
I Love My Friends,
I Love Nature.

Content:  Two grades (K2 and K3), each grade includes 8 units.

 

Aim:     1. Provides basic knowledge about society and health, raising their cognition of society, good living habit and self-care ability.
2. Develop children’s self-physical coordination and ability of social life.
3. Enhance children’s interests in joining activities, so as to build up characters of positive, brave, overcome difficulties and self-discipline.

Model of action: 1. Coordinate with kindergarten’s curriculum, use method of game to run activities.

  1. Activities matches family lives, children’s family can understand their children’s development in mental and physical.
    3. Mode of activities can fulfil children’s curiosity, build their interest in exercising and good habits.

 

  • St. Monica’s “HAPPY SMILE CHOIR” is a school-based interest-based learning program that provides children with more opportunities to be exposed to music and learn English through singing. Through daily music training, we can inspire musical talents, build self-confidence, and learn team spirit. The school will arrange for the choir to participate in public performances, competitions and serve the community.

 

 

“Small Drum Team”

Our kindergarten and the “Hong Kong Children’s Drumming Ensemble” have established a “Small Drum Team” to enhance children’s musical attainments, performance skills, and experience team spirit. Through the practice of the orchestra, we can cultivate children’s virtues such as unity, friendship, respect, cooperation, and tolerance, and promote the whole society. People develop. The school will try to arrange the snare drum team to participate in public performances, competitions and serve the community.
